Back on Track

Where do I even begin??

It's been a rough week to say the least.  Most of last week consisted of rainy shit days that prevented me from getting in some intense workouts.  I know...not really an excuse but I'm using it as one.  My food intake was on track during the week.  Friday was the first day that I started to eat poorly. 

Friday...ohh Friday. What a day.  It started off awesome!! I was planning to go see some friends at my old job so I had to dress up and look great!  I decided to wear my new fall dress and my heels.  It was a cool and beautiful day and I was in such a great mood! Well....I was trying to look cute and I fell down the stairs. YUP. Awesome. In a dress.  My knees got all scratched up and I was dripping blood. I was more worried about going to see my friends looking like a hot mess than I was that my knee was burning and dripping blood.  I have my priorities straight. Don't judge.

So after I ate it on the stairs...I clean up my knee and go rock my outfit at my old job.  Everyone said I looked great.  It was a little boost of confidence that I needed.  After that I took my busted bloody self home so me and J could go on our usual Friday afternoon lunch date.  We always go to the pizza place in Collingswood, NJ. YUM.

After lunch we hung out for a bit and then headed down to DE for "Family Dinner."  Family dinner is where me and 4 of my friends get together and someone hosts dinner at their house.  My friend who hosted made bbq pulled pork sandwiches, mac & cheese and cole slaw. YUM.  It was so good!   I ate way too much but that's ok because it was family dinner...right?  Wrong.  I ate too much and I shouldn't have. Oh well.  I was in charge of dessert and made these fall cupcakes:
So cute! Little owls!  Yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting, oreo eyes and reese pieces pupils and beak.  They were a hit and surprisingly delicious.  I usually burn the shit I make in my oven....

We also had smores made with reese cups. I had one.  So all in all I ate poorly on Friday and was mad at myself because I couldn't even work out a lot this week.

Saturday was worse....

I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding like you all know.  This whole weight loss journey was started mostly because I wanted to look good in her wedding.  This weekend was the bachlorette party in Atlantic City.  IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.  I ate bad and drank my face off but I don't care because it was one of the best nights ever. Plus I puked it all up at 3am anyways...tmi I know.

Saturday durring the day we walked around AC and shopped at the outlets. I rocked my size 18 jeans. Aren't they cute?  I got a lot of compliments on them and they are my new fav. Mostly bc they are size 18!! YAY! :)
After shopping we went back to the room and started to get ready for dinner.  We went to Rainforest Cafe, the brides fav.  I got a turkey club and a side salad. Not healthy at all but better than other options.  I also drank half of a frozen drink. It wasn't that good so I saved some cals and didn't drink the whole thing.

After dinner is where it all started to get  crazy messy. We were poppin champage bottles and taking shots.  Keep in mind...there were only 4 of us and I have not drank heavily for 8 months!  We pretty much killed a bottle of champagne each and I had 3 mini shot bottles of vodka. Smart Julie...we haven't even left the room yet.  Needless to say I was feeling goooooood. It was fun to get that wasted...it had been so long! 

Wasted face!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!! Calories...ehhhh go f yourself. I don't care and I regret NOTHING. :)

It was a great time and now that it's over I am ready to get back on track.  I need to start my intense workouts again and I need to stay on track calorie wise.  I have come SO far and I still have SO far to go.  I can't give up now.  I am going to work really hard this week and try to hit my 15% weight loss goal...lose 47.22lbs.  I am only 1.2lbs away!  I can do it!!! :)
