Just keep running. Just keep running.

It's been awhile since my last post and I am proud to say that I am still running. Yup...haven't given up. In fact it has been quite the obsession...typical.

I have been running for about 2 weeks now and I must say that everytime it gets easier and easier. Except when I decide to run first thing in the morning without a solid breakfast. For some reason I think it's a great idea to have a scoop of peanut butter to give me energy for a workout at 9am. Wrong. It doesn't work. It's not enough to keep me feeling strong. Usually on days like that I find myself walking slooooow more often and not much running takes place. I still get in a good workout and burn some cals but not clearly the high I am aiming for. Need the fix....junkie.

My friend turned me on to the best invention everrr. runkeeper.com . Basically an app/site that uses gps to keep track of your miles, pace, speed and calories burned. You can either download the app to your phone or manually enter in your predicted route and it will tabulate for you. I use the app on my droid and use the gps. It is pretty amazing in a creepy stalker gps type way. It knows exactly where I am, where I'm going and when I even cross the street. Insane...read: creepy.

I suggest everyone to use this tool! It doesn't matter if you run, walk, jog, hike or ride a bike. It tracks it all! And the coolest part is that you can actually see your progress over time and compare your times/pace. Amazing.

The only downside is...not only do I have my iPod and keys in my bra...now I have to carry my phone. Awesome. Technology party in my sports bra.

In other news, my ww weigh in was cancelled on Monday because of Labor Day. This means going another week without a good weigh in. I haven't been weighed since Aug 22, where I actually gained a pound. I got pissed and refused to update my tracker so I am just pretending it never happened and making up for it in these past few weeks. Which I hope I did. I have been working hard and eating well so I am hoping to lose at least 3lbs at my weigh in on the 12th.

I am starting to feel a difference in my body. My face is def less obese and disgusting. My necklace is bigger and myboyfriendwillagreethatsomethingxratedhasalsoimprovedandisnowevenmoreamazing. My size 22 Lane Bryant fat girl work pants are too big and I constantly have to keep pulling them up. This weekend I went to Old Navy and bought SIZE 18 JEANS! This is new for me and I have not worn size 18 in years. Not gunna lie, they are not loose on me but they button so it counts. So excited to rock them with my 5in Cole Haan heels. :D

My goals for the week are simple. Keep working out hard the best I can in the shitty weather and eat right. I have a weigh in less than a week away and I need a big loss!
