Todays experiement: Protein Pancakes!
I always wanted to try these but most of the recipes I have seen use protein powder. You know, the powder weightloss peeps use for their shakes. I don't use protein powder during my journey. Mostly because I am stubborn and want to lose weight the old fashioned way: Eat less, move more. Also because protein powder is expensiveeeeee and I would rather buy clothes. Typical.
Anyways...on to the pancakes
1/2 Cup Oatmeal (grind up into a powder)
4 Egg Whites
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
Mix the ingredients together and then make like a pancake. Easy. (Thank you for sharing the recipe @sara_ann21!!!)
YUM! So good. I topped mine with bananas and sugar free syrup. SO GOOD! Side note: I ended up sharing with my mom...the recipe was probably for (2) servings...I couldn't finish them all.
