Weekend Warrior

This weekend was pretty awesome!  Not only was it fun non weightloss related but it was also successful weightloss wise.  Well...every day except Friday.

Friday I only had to work a half day.  While I was at work I got reallllly mad about something and all I wanted to do was go to the gym and run out my anger.  I swear...the best workouts are when you are PISSED OFF and just want to bang it out.  So as soon as I got home I changed and went straight to the gym.  I ended up doing an hour long workout that consisted of C25K week 3 day 1 AND day 2.  It felt amazing!! I love running so much. Instant mood changer.

I love that shirt so much! HAHAHA!  Please understand that I totally bought it not because I think I am the "perfect role model" but because I am the complete opposite. It's hilarious.  People that know me would understand. Haha. Looooove it.

Anyways...that was a really great workout for me.  I ran and I felt like I could do more.  It wasn't that challenging which is a great feeling!  I also feel like my legs are getting stronger and runnerish.  My one friend knows EXACTLY what I am talking about.  I'm obsessed with her runner ankles and I waaaaant them. That is my goal!!!  I hope to have them some day!! :) (totally not creepy)

Friday night I planned on going into Philadelphia for a chill night out with one of my best friends.  Turned out to be a hot mess because I drank way too much beer.  I knew this was going to happen so I let it. So glad I went to the gym that day...because I def drank all the calories I burned...plus some.  Damnit.  Oh well...i'm in my 20s...I can still have fun.




So after a crazy night Friday...obviously I didn't want to go to the gym all day Saturday. Unfortunately I really didn't go.  I was kinda pissed off at myself for skipping but....it happens.  I did, however, go to the gym Sunday morning as soon as I woke up!  I was feeling very motivated since I skipped on Saturday.

Sunday's Workout
I wanted to do another hour workout so I ended up doing C25K week 3 day 3 twice back to back!  I felt awesome afterwards.  I really pushed myself to run a little faster than usual.  I have to thank Christina Aguilera's song Fighter.  That is one of 3 songs that really makes me push harder and faster when I run.  I especially like it because of the lyrics and the fact that I totally can zone out and just RUN.  I loveeee it.

One last thing...here is a soda update.  I am about to break my longest streak of 49 days!  A while back in November I was close to breaking my streak and then I had tonic water thinking it was more like seltzer than soda. Wrong.  Had to start over.  So tomorrow I will be at 50 days! My longest streak ever! I barely even miss it.  Yeah buddy!
